If I heard this once last night, I heard it a thousand times. It was the highlight of Hudson's evening...that you were allowed to go to peoples houses and "ring the doorbells." He couldn't reach most of them so I had to lift his 40 lb pumpkin self up so he could ring away. He rang everyones at least three times...sorry neighbors. And much to his dismay, there were several people who were already sitting outside and he politely looked at them and asked, "I ring the doorbells?"...who could refuse my sweet pumpkin? Several times, if Hudson liked the house's candy (and their doorbell) he would hold his bucket back up and say, "more trick or treats." Again, who could refuse? All in all, he had a blast...his cousins, aunts, uncle, grandmothers, grandfather, and great grandfathers came to eat and party with him. Chili, cornbread, cupcakes, candy... and doorbells...what more could a 2 year old ask for? Grace Ann was a cat...probably the cutest cat I've ever seen and she didn't have a bad time herself strolling in the wagon watching the boys. We had a blast, but I can't say that I didn't think of our dear Forest Brookers (and Kennon Springs friends) and how much we miss them...hope you all didn't have too much fun without us :).
