Ok, I am behind with my updates on things we have been up to since we moved. First of all, a few weekends ago we went to the Delta Fair. Apparently, last year was the end of the Mid-South Fair due to crime and high costs for the city. It moved down to Tunica to cater to the casino going crowd. It's replacement...the Delta Fair. It was great; smaller, cheaper, close to the house...just as dirty, good pronto pups, and provided an excellent opportunity to "people watch." The kids loved it..lights, rides, animals, people, food...what's not for a kid to love. Hudson loved the petting zoo.. particularly the goats, little pigs and climbing on the fence. He was insistent to ride the airplanes, which I was happy to do with him because I love rides and have been pregnant at every other ride opportunity. He was not overly pleased with the airplane ride once it started, he stayed suctioned to my side the entire time...it went higher and faster than he realized it would and the gravity was pulling him to the outside so much he wasn't strong enough to sit up straight. He very quickly decided he was, "all done airplane." During our airplane ride, Grace Ann broke down because of the screams from the children on the ride. But, for the hour and a half we were there, she rode contently in the baby back pack, Hud met some new animals, Chris and I ate a pronto pup and reminisced about what wonderful times we had at the fair when we were kids. All in all...a great night...here are some picts...

the pictures did turn out great!
So glad that we can live vicariously through them.....
oh, I love the b/w picture of the grandstand! awesome! what the heck is a pup thing that you ate? I'm not up on my fair food lingo :)
so glad to be enlightened on my fair vocabulary! Of course I visited the fair when I was growing up, but I don't think that we "civilized" East Tn people have those kind of dogs :)
i think i can picture hudson's face on the airplane ride...probably like it was when i swung him high in william's tree swing. i don't think you had seen it since brent moved it to a higher branch. cute little hudson looked scared/miserable and so, of course, i stopped it and took him out.:)
